ICSE Class 10 Last 100 Days Plan 2027 — Subject Wise

ICSE Class 10 last 100 days plan 2027: 15-week subject-wise schedule, 50% HOTS pattern, specimen paper use and revision phases while the date sheet is awaited.

In short: CISCE had not released the ICSE 2027 date sheet as of October 28, 2026. Last year's ICSE Class 10 exams ran from February 17 to March 30, 2026, and the 2026 date sheet came on November 13, 2025. This guide gives a 15-week plan from Monday, November 2 to Sunday, February 14 that you can shift when the date sheet arrives. It is built around the 2027 pattern: 80 marks theory plus 20 internal assessment, with about 50% of marks on higher-order thinking. Specimen papers are out. ICSE has separate papers for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, so the plan treats them as three subjects.

Last updated: October 28, 2026. I will update the dates when CISCE publishes the official timetable.

What the 50% HOTS Pattern Means for Your Plan

CISCE's specimen papers allot about half the marks to application, analysis, evaluation and creation skills. That changes how you spend your 100 days:

Old habitNew habit
Reread the textbookSolve application questions after each chapter
Memorise model answersPractise explaining reasoning step by step
Practise only textbook exercisesAdd specimen and unseen-style questions
Revise by readingRevise by self-testing and error review

The Four Phases (15 Weeks)

PhaseWeeksDatesGoal
1. Finish and consolidate1 to 6Nov 2 to Dec 13Complete every chapter. Build formula and definition sheets
2. Apply and practise7 to 10Dec 14 to Jan 10HOTS-style questions by topic. Start the mistake notebook
3. Full specimen papers11 to 13Jan 11 to Jan 31Timed papers, internal assessment work, practicals
4. Final revision14 to 15Feb 1 to Feb 14Light revision from your mistake notebook. Sleep

If the date sheet shows a later start, extend Phase 2 and Phase 3. If earlier, shorten Phase 2.

Weekly Hours (Illustrative)

About 30 hours a week: 4 hours on weekdays after school, 5 on Saturday and 5 on Sunday. These are not CISCE numbers, only a way to split your time.

How to Use Specimen Papers

  1. Download the subject specimen papers and answer keys from cisce.org.
  2. Attempt a paper in exam conditions after Week 10.
  3. Mark it strictly with the answer key. Note which skill each lost mark came from: remembering, applying or evaluating.
  4. Turn each lost mark into a mistake-notebook entry.
  5. In the final two weeks, revise from the notebook, not the textbooks.

Subject Tactics

SubjectWhat to do in the last 100 days
MathematicsPractise word problems and multi-step questions. See the weightage guide
PhysicsCombine numericals with explanation. Use the formula guide
ChemistryPractise analytical and reasoning questions, not only equations. See the Science weightage guide
BiologyDraw and label diagrams, then answer "what if" reasoning questions
EnglishUse the literature guide. Practise argument-style answers
History and CivicsPractise "compare" and "evaluate" answers. See the weightage guide
GeographyPractise data interpretation and map reading. See the weightage guide

Common Mistakes

MistakeFix
Waiting for the date sheet before startingWeeks 1 to 5 do not depend on exact dates. Start now
Memorising model answers for HOTS questionsPractise explaining your reasoning instead
Ignoring internal assessmentIt carries 20 marks per subject. Finish project and practical work by January
Studying all subjects equallySpend more time on the subjects where your mock marks are lowest
Late nights before an early startIf the 10 AM start is confirmed, shift your sleep earlier two weeks before the exams

Frequently Asked Questions

When will the ICSE date sheet 2027 be released?

CISCE has not announced a date. Last year the date sheet came on November 13, 2025. Estimates this year range from the first week to the fourth week of November, and none is official.

Has the ICSE Class 10 pattern changed for 2027?

CISCE's specimen papers allot about 50% of marks to higher-order thinking, as reported by PW and MSN. The structure stays 80 marks theory plus 20 internal assessment.

Is 100 days enough for ICSE Class 10?

Yes, if your school has covered most of the syllabus and you practise application questions regularly. About 30 hours a week for 15 weeks gives roughly 450 hours.

How many specimen papers should I solve?

Solve at least one full specimen paper per subject under timed conditions, plus section-wise practice. The answer keys show how much detail CISCE expects.

Should ICSE students follow a different plan from CBSE students?

The structure is similar, but ICSE has separate Physics, Chemistry and Biology papers and a stronger emphasis on applied answers. Use this plan rather than a CBSE-specific one.

What if the ICSE exam starts at 10 AM?

The 10 AM start is a reported proposal, not confirmed. Shift your sleep earlier anyway, then follow the official timetable once it is out.
