1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Padhaao (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Padhaao ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

Padhaao is an AI-powered tutoring platform for Indian students from Grade 1 to 12. The Service provides chapter-wise lessons, quizzes, flashcards, exam practice papers, and other learning modes aligned to CBSE, ICSE, and state board syllabi. Content is generated by artificial intelligence and is not reviewed by human teachers.

3. User Accounts

You must sign in using a Google account to use the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
You must not share your account with others or allow others to access the Service through your account.
You must provide accurate information. We may suspend accounts that we believe are fraudulent.

4. Free and Paid Plans

Free Plan:

3 chapters per day, forever free
All learning modes, all boards, all grades included
Daily limit resets at midnight IST

Paid Plans (Pro):

Unlimited chapters per day
Plans: Monthly (₹99/month), Annual (₹249/year), Lifetime (₹1,499 one-time)
Payments processed securely by Razorpay
Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation:

To cancel your paid plan, email us at padhaaoedu@gmail.com with your registered email address.
After cancellation, you retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period (30 days for monthly, 365 days for annual).
Once the billing period ends, your account reverts to the free plan (3 chapters per day).
There are no cancellation fees.
Lifetime plan purchases cannot be cancelled as they provide permanent access.

Refunds:

Refund requests must be made within 7 days of payment.
To request a refund, email us at padhaaoedu@gmail.com with your registered email address and Razorpay payment ID (found in your payment confirmation email).
Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method (UPI, card, or bank account).
Partial refunds for unused days within a billing period are not provided.
Lifetime plan purchases are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of payment. After 7 days, lifetime purchases are non-refundable.

Refunds are not applicable when:

The request is made after 7 days from the date of payment.
The account was suspended due to violation of these Terms.
The payment was made using a fraudulent method.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All educational content on Padhaao is generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy through detailed prompts and board-specific instructions, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. We recommend that students verify important information (especially for board exams) with their prescribed textbooks. Padhaao is a supplementary learning tool and should not be used as the sole source of preparation.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to bypass the daily chapter limit or any other usage restrictions
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the content generated by the Service
Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the Service
Use multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits

8. Intellectual Property

The Padhaao brand, logo, website design, and software code are owned by us. The educational content generated for your personal use may be copied, saved, or printed for your own study purposes. You may not commercially distribute or resell the generated content.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We are not liable for any loss caused by downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

Padhaao is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that using the Service will improve your exam scores or academic performance. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated content for exam preparation.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
