CBSE Class 10 Hindi A and B — Most Expected Questions 2027

Most expected CBSE Class 10 Hindi Course A and B questions for 2027: grammar, writing formats, literature, with marks and what the 2026 paper showed.

In short: Nobody outside CBSE knows the exact 2027 Hindi questions, so this list ranks question types by evidence: the section layout for Hindi Course A (code 002) and Course B (code 085), what teachers reported about the March 2, 2026 paper, and the grammar and writing formats named for each course. Both courses are 80-mark papers. Grammar carries 16 marks in both, and the 2026 paper tested usage and identification in sentences, not definitions. Writing formats are the most predictable part, so each one gets a template. Treat it as a practice priority list, not a leak.

Last updated: October 28, 2026. The 2027 date sheet is not out yet. The detailed section layout below is the 2025-26 layout. A coaching site says the 2026-27 sample papers keep the design largely unchanged, so confirm against the official sample paper.

Where reports disagree

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these the exact questions in the 2027 Hindi board exam?

No. Nobody outside CBSE knows the 2027 questions. This list ranks question types by evidence from the section layout, what teachers reported about the 2026 paper, and the grammar and writing formats named for each course. Any page or channel that promises the actual paper is a scam.

What is the difference between Hindi Course A and Course B?

Course A (code 002) follows Kshitij and Kritika and suits students who study Hindi at a higher level. Course B (code 085) follows Sparsh and Sanchayan and is for students who study Hindi as a second language. Both are 80-mark papers with 14 marks for unseen comprehension and 16 for grammar. Course A carries 30 marks for textbooks and 20 for writing. Course B carries 28 and 22.

Which grammar topics are tested?

For Course A, the layout lists वाक्य भेद, वाच्य परिवर्तन, पद परिचय and अलंकार पहचान. For Course B, it lists पदबंध, वाक्य रूपांतरण, समास and मुहावरे. In 2026, coverage said the questions tested usage and identification in sentences, not definitions.

Was the 2026 Hindi paper difficult?

Reports differ. Teachers quoted by NDTV called it moderate, balanced and with many competency-based questions. A Lucknow teacher called Course B easy to moderate, with scoring Reading and Literature. Students called the writing section time-consuming.

Which writing formats should I practise?

For Course A, practise अनुच्छेद, औपचारिक पत्र, स्ववृत्त or आवेदन or ई-मेल, and विज्ञापन or संदेश. For Course B, practise अनुच्छेद, पत्र, सूचना, विज्ञापन and लघु कथा or ई-मेल. Coverage of the 2026 paper named paragraph, letter and notice writing.

Can I skip the deleted chapters?

Only if they are deleted in the 2026-27 syllabus. The list I could read is for 2025-26, and one site says Kritika has new chapters. Open the official 2026-27 syllabus PDF for your course and confirm each lesson before you skip it.
