Class 2 English - ICSE
Verbs (Action Words)
In the Class 2 ICSE English Chapter 'Verbs (Action Words)', young learners discover words that tell us what people, animals, or things do. Verbs are the heartbeat of every sentence because they show action, such as jumping, reading, sleeping, or running. Understanding action words is crucial for building complete sentences and expressing thoughts clearly. In ICSE board exams and school assessments, this chapter forms the foundation of basic grammar. Students are frequently tested through fill-in-the-blanks, matching exercises, and identifying action words in sentences, making it essential for scoring high marks in English paper.
