JAC model paper 2027 for Class 10 and Class 12 with answers. OMR objective + subjective practice sets for Maths, Science, Social Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Accountancy, plus official download steps.

In short: JAC (Jharkhand Academic Council) releases official model papers for Class 10 and Class 12 on jac.jharkhand.gov.in before the board exams. Recent JAC papers have two parts: an objective section answered on an OMR sheet, and a subjective section written in the answer booklet. This guide gives you answered practice sets in the same format for Class 10 (Maths, Science, Social Science) and Class 12 (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accountancy). It also explains how to download the official papers and a 6-week practice schedule.

How to Download Official JAC Model Papers

  1. Open jac.jharkhand.gov.in
  2. Go to the "Model Question" or "Model Paper" section (sometimes under Notices)
  3. Select Class 10 (Matric) or Class 12 (Intermediate: Science / Commerce / Arts)
  4. Download the subject-wise PDF
  5. Print it and solve it in one 3-hour sitting

Your school can also give you printed JAC model papers. Avoid random sites that re-upload old papers under a new year.

Subjective — Sample Questions With Answers

Q1 (2 marks). Find the LCM of 12, 15 and 21. 12 = 2² × 3, 15 = 3 × 5, 21 = 3 × 7. LCM = 2² × 3 × 5 × 7 = 420.

Q2 (2 marks). For what value of k does 2x² + kx + 3 = 0 have equal roots? D = k² − 24 = 0, so k = ±2√6.

Q3 (3 marks). The sum of the first n terms of an AP is 3n² + 5n. Find its 10th term. a₁₀ = S₁₀ − S₉ = (300 + 50) − (243 + 45) = 350 − 288 = 62.

Q4 (3 marks). Prove: (sin A + cos A)² + (sin A − cos A)² = 2. Expanding: (sin²A + cos²A + 2 sin A cos A) + (sin²A + cos²A − 2 sin A cos A) = 1 + 1 = 2. Hence proved.

Q5 (5 marks). A tower stands on level ground. From a point 30 m from its foot, the angle of elevation of the top is 30°. Find the height. tan 30° = h/30, so h = 30/√3 = 10√3 ≈ 17.32 m.

Q6 (5 marks). Find the median of the following data.

Class0-2020-4040-6060-8080-100
f691087

Cumulative frequencies: 6, 15, 25, 33, 40. n/2 = 20, so the median class is 40-60 (l = 40, cf = 15, f = 10, h = 20). Median = 40 + [(20 − 15)/10] × 20 = 40 + 10 = 50.

Class 12 Accountancy — Practice Set

Q1 (3 marks). Calculate goodwill at 2 years' purchase of average profit. Profits of the last 3 years: ₹40,000, ₹50,000, ₹60,000. Average profit = 1,50,000/3 = ₹50,000. Goodwill = 50,000 × 2 = ₹1,00,000.

Q2 (3 marks). A and B share profits 3:2. C is admitted for a 1/5 share, which he takes equally from A and B. Find the new ratio. C takes 1/10 from each. A = 3/5 − 1/10 = 5/10. B = 2/5 − 1/10 = 3/10. C = 2/10. New ratio A : B : C = 5 : 3 : 2.

Q3 (4 marks). Find the current ratio. Current assets = ₹2,40,000, current liabilities = ₹1,20,000. If the company pays ₹20,000 to creditors, what is the new ratio? Current ratio = 2,40,000/1,20,000 = 2 : 1. After payment: 2,20,000/1,00,000 = 2.2 : 1.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does JAC release the 2027 model papers?

JAC usually publishes model papers on jac.jharkhand.gov.in a few months before the February board exams, often between October and December. Check the Notices section regularly, and ask your school, which also receives copies.

Does the JAC model paper match the real exam?

The official JAC model paper follows the same pattern, sections and marks distribution as the real exam. The actual questions differ, but the type and difficulty are similar. It is the most reliable practice material available.

How should I fill the JAC OMR sheet?

Use a blue or black ballpoint pen. Fill the correct bubble completely. Do not tick, cross or partly fill it. Never overwrite or use whitener. Write your roll number and booklet series carefully, because errors here can cause your OMR to be rejected.

Is there negative marking in JAC objective questions?

JAC has generally not used negative marking in its board exam MCQs. Attempt every objective question. Confirm in the instructions printed on your 2027 question paper.

Are JAC Class 10 papers based on NCERT?

Yes. JAC Class 10 Maths, Science and Social Science follow NCERT. Many objective questions come directly from NCERT lines, tables and in-text questions. Read NCERT closely before using a guidebook.

How many model papers should I solve?

Solve at least 3 papers per subject: the official JAC model paper, the previous year paper, and one practice set. Students aiming for 85%+ should do 5 or more per main subject.
